Do I need a green card if I’m not permanently moving to the US?
March 16th, 2009 | by admin |I’m planning on visiting a friend in the US for a couple months, but would probably need to work during that time as I don’t have a lot of disposable income. Would I need a green card to work even if I’m not becoming a permanent resident?

Most likely you would have only a tourist visa…that doesn’t allow you to work legally

To get in you need a temp pass (vacation or business related), but I believe if you need to obtain a US job then you will need a green card.
