is the labor certification for green card same as the labor certification for the H1B?

hi,
i was wondering if the labor certification made for the green card application can be used to apply for the H1B temporary work visa? Does it have a expiration date? Any help would be greatly appreciated…thanks!

    H1B visa require a sponsor.
